brotherly love

 Thsi pic was taken at the end of Feb. I dont often see them with their arms wrapped around each other unless it's in a wrestling hold. LOL

Sherwood's new favourite hidey hole. funny, I read somwhere that Birman's are not into heights. he he he. try telling that to these two. These cupboards are above the microwave at my head height. As you can see, I had to put all my little Knick Knacks into little sealed containers once this started happening as things would have been everywhere. He looks so cute that I cant possibly tell him off:)

Pics from before Christmas

Awww! Lincoln

 You might think my boys being littermates are probably inseparable. Well I took this photo because up till now this is as close as they have got. They love to wrestle one another though.
 The day of the tornado I wondered how my boys had been while I was at work. This is how I found them:) Obviously a bit of wild weather, thunder and high winds is not that perturbing.
Getting to the long and lanky stage. (Doesn't your mother ever brush you?)

My Boys

Hi fellow cat lovers:)
I have been busy with the end of the school year, Christmas and my news Birman Kittens and had intended to start this blog sooner but better late than never, as they say.

My two Birman kittens were born on the  9th of Sept 2012 (one day before my birthday). I adopted them at he age of 11 weeks on Nov 24th.

They are both boys. One Seal Point I have called Sherwood (after Sherwood Forest, which is near where I was born) and the other a Chocolate Point, I have called Lincoln ( the colour Robin Hood  from Sherwood Forest wore).

Prior to adoption, the breeder, Sandra Broomfield from Cambridge, sent me the photos that you can view on my stamping blog. They sure have grown since and boy they surprise me everyday with something new they have learnt. Today Sherwood jumped onto my chest of drawers (that is well over a metre high) from the ground! (Lincoln went the circuitous route via my bedside table).

Now for some photos;

I built them an enormous cat tree from a kitset and they took to it straight away (which is gratifying).
